USE ACTORS?
Where role play is performed using your own employees,
those employees may feel the need to "give each other an easy
time." This does not happen with actors. Actors perform the
role exactly matching how a real person would react.
Employees may also feel intimidated especially where they are
role playing
with a superior. This does not happen with actors who do not
work with your
company. They cannot be intimidated.
Actors can also give honest feedback on the participants performance.
Real
employees are likely to give only positive feedback for fear
of reprisals.
Actors will feedback on the positive areas and also feedback
on areas for
improvement.
Academy Castings has a pool of some 30 actors, all of whom are
full Equity
members and also a further pool of some 60 actors all of whom
have experience of professional role play.
